At Advanced Associates in Neurology, we understand the importance of comprehensive care and treatment, and we work hard to ensure that you receive the best care possible. Dr. Ourmazdi is a Board of Psychiatry and Neurology certified neurologist with over 26 years of experience in the field of inpatient and outpatient Neurology. He received his medical degree from Chicago Medical School in 1997; he further completed his Neurology residency and fellowship at the University of Southern California in 2001, and has been in private practice since 2001. His clinic is in Camarillo, CA and he works at both St. John’s Hospitals in Oxnard and Camarillo.
We specialize in the diagnosis and treatment of a wide variety of neurological conditions. However, due to the nature of telemedicine we have on some limitations.
We cannot see emergency cases via telehealth.
We can see patients via telehealth with:
• Alzheimer’s disease
• Peripheral neuropathy
• Epilepsy
• Parkinson disease
• Migraines
• Headaches
• Spine pain
• Sleep disorders
Please note that in addition, we need to work in conjunction with your primary care providers at times as it is necessary to review patients' charts before we can accept the consult.
At times we may refer patients to a local neurologist or hospital to perform various tests in person.
